QUILOMBOARTE ; The Project

Bocafloja is the founder of Quilomboarte; a peripheral cultural production conglomerate and platform that facilitates the creation of synergies between counter-hegemonic artists from the Global South. We embrace an anti-colonial political tradition which arises from the historical margins of our own bodies.

Concerts, workshops, lectures, film screenings, theater, cultural exchanges, artistic residencies, are just some of the production formats that we have been developing internationally since 2005.

We are an extended family of creators. We are a cooperative entity that established itself as a proactive alternative towards colonial cultural industries.
